“Chop From the Top.” That’s what one protest sign read when Albuquerque Public School Teachers protested Wednesday afternoon the proposed district budget cuts expected due to the state deficit. The teachers were responding to a letter sent out by APS officials saying they should be ready for some tough budget cuts.
The gathering took place before Wednesday night’s school board meeting.
