Los Alamos National Laboratory is getting a failing grade when it comes to taking steps to prevent accidents in developing nuclear weapons. The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that an independent federal advisory board found that LANL had a number of safety infractions during the last fiscal year. Spokesman Kevn Roark says the lab is taking steps to address the issue, including adding staff and increasing training.
