In New Mexico, it’s only illegal to send a pornographic image to a child if the image is that of the person sending it. State Representative Kelly Fajardo wants to change that, making it a fourth-degree felony to send any pornographic image to a child. This will be the fourth time Fajardo has tried to pass this legislation. It’s had unanimous support in the House but has never been put to a floor vote in the Senate.
