With a major winter storm hitting New Mexico, Governor Martinez has activated the State’s Emergency Operations Center. The governor says the center will coordinate with state agencies and local communities to prepare for and respond to the storm.
The State Department of Transportation says it has 116 graders, more than 250 front-end loaders, and more than 500 dump trucks with plows and salt spreaders on hand to deal with the snow.
