Budget cuts and adjustments are expected in Albuquerque as City Hall is predicted to be faced with a $24 million shortfall this year. The Albuquerque Journal reports the prediction is outlined in documents submitted to city councilors on Wednesday.
The Journal says it sets the stage now for cost-cutting. The city has to make the adjustments before the next fiscal year starts July 1st.
