The private ceremony was Sunday. Now, the public swearing-in ceremony for Bernalillo County’s new District Attorney is being held Tuesday. Raul Torrez ran unopposed for the DA’s job- replacing Kari Brandenburg, who held the position for 16 years.
Torrez comes to the DA’s office with experience as a former assistant US Attorney, Assistance Attorney General, and Assistant DA.
