Albuquerque Police are investigating an apparent homicide. Officers were sent to the area of Lomas and Broadway around 6 Wednesday morning after getting reports of a body in the roadway. Initially, it was thought the person had been shot, but further investigation determined the victim was stabbed to death. Police had the area closed-off and had put up a protective barrier around the body. Few other details are available at this time.
