New Mexico has the second highest drug overdose death rate in the country. A few weeks ago, the Albuquerque City Council passed a bill to equip libraries and other city buildings with the anti-overdose drug Naloxone, or Narcan. Now, Mayor RJ Berry has signed the bill into law. The measure was sponsored by Councilors Dan Lewis and Diane Gibson.
