New Mexico’s Democratic Senators are not impressed with some of the President-elect Trump’s picks for cabinet posts. Senator Martin Heinrich says Trump has signaled his blatant hostility to the US Energy Department with his nomination of Rick Perry to head up the department- a man who has proposed eliminating the agency. And Senator Tom Udall has a problem with Trump’s selection of Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson to be Secretary of State. Udall says Trump is breaking his promise to drain the swamp of wealthy special interests.
