A lawsuit has been filed by the New Mexico Attorney General, accusing an ABQ businessman of bilking people out of thousands of dollars in a real estate contract scheme. The AG’s office says Jesus Cano preyed on Spanish speaking communities in Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Valencia counties…in some cases wiping out people’s life savings.
It’s alleged that Cano sometimes tried to sell home he didn’t own.
