An Albuquerque man who was recently sentenced to 16 years in prison for a road rage killing now faces even more charges. Thirty-three year old Tony Torrez has been arraigned in federal court on drug trafficking and firearms charges. If convicted on all counts, he could face 41 additional years in prison.
Torrez pled guilty last week to second degree murder in the shooting death of four-year-old Lilly Garcia in a road rage case from October of 2015. The alleged drug and gun offenses came to light during the investigation into that shooting.
