When the CIA "torture" report was released, many on the left were outraged at our tactics and the White House not saying whether these tactics were used in finding Osama Bin Laden of other key terrorist figures…leaves me wondering. Everyone was on board Sept. 12, 2001 to use whatever means necessary to find and smoke out these groups. In fact it was one of the few times in recent memory that both Republican and Democratic lawmakers were on the same page, to find these people who were responsible and kill them. After a decade and some change, the Left is now revising their own history and separating themselves from these CIA tactics. In times of war or immediate danger the US should not be judged on some sort of mythical moral high ground. We should do what we have to do to protect ourselves. With this report the Left has made protecting Americans that much harder.
