Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling made news this week with bigoted comments that were recorded and publicized. He’ll likely lose his team when the other NBA owners vote him out. The good news in this is that the public outcry reveals that the vast majority of Americans won’t put up with racial prejudice. Remember, Sterling is an NBA owner who isn’t being jailed or punished by the government so he wasn’t denied free speech.
