ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) A New Mexico man is facing child abuse charges after police say he spanked his children with a pipe. KOB-TV reports that state police recently arrested Albuquerque resident Richard Robinson over the alleged bizarre beating.
According to investigators, the children's mother found bruises on the kids and called police. Court records show she told officers that Robinson was hitting the kids with the pipe to make them behave better.
It was unclear if Robinson had an attorney.
